ELIGIBILITY:-</div>
1.  Students  studying in class VI  to XII in  Central Govt /Govt. of Delhi/  Aided/  Recognized/Local bodies   schools  are eligible.<br />
2.  Family income limit is not applicable  in case of SC/ST students.  But family income should not exceed  Rs. 1.00 lakh per annum  in case of OBC and minorities students.<br />
3.  A student is allowed to avail the scholarship either under the State Plan Scheme or Centrally Sponsored Scholarship Scheme, whichever is beneficial to him/her and should inform the awarding authority through the Head of the Institution by mode of a declaration”.<br />

<strong><u>Eligibility criteria:</u></strong></div>
i)   A student is allowed to avail the scholarship either under the State Plan Scheme or Centrally Sponsored Scholarship Scheme, whichever is beneficial to him/her and should inform the awarding authority through the Head of the Institution by mode of a declaration.<br />
ii)  The SC/ST/OBC/Minority students getting stipend from the institutions/ Government during the course of study are also eligible to get the merit scholarship.<br />
iii)        Only those SC/ST/OBC/Minorities  students are eligible who will obtain 60% or more marks in  previous examination  and get  admission in  recognised  college  /  professional  /   technical institutions.<br />
iv) Scholarship  will  be granted to students  of  3  year degree courses, post graduate studies at college  level and  professional courses of degree and  post  graduate level  and  diploma  studies.   The  duration  of   the professional course may vary from course to course.<br />
v)  There  shall  be  no  limit  for  the  income  of   the applicant/parents/guardians for grant of scholarship in respect of SC/ST students. However, family income limit of   Rs.   1,00,000/-   p.a.  is   applicable   for    the OBC/ Minorities community.<br />
vi)  Students should have SC/ST/OBC/Minorities certificate issued by the   competent   authority  of   Delhi   i.e.   Deputy Commissioner, Delhi.<br />
vii)  The rate of scholarship will be reduced to 50% if  a  student   failed in  the  annual  examination, but continues studies except in cases where the student failed  to appear in the annual examination  on  medical grounds  or  due to natural calamities   or  any  other reason beyond his/her control.<br />
viii)  Intentional non appearance in the  annual  examination will  disqualify  the  student   from  the  grant   of scholarship during the next academic year.</td></tr>

Rourkela steel plant provide scholarships to NIT Rourkela students

<b>Rourkela Steel Plant</b> (RSP) awarded scholarship of Rs 2 lakh to few engineering students of <b>National Institute of Technology Rourkela</b> (NIT Rourkela), which is a major player in the steel industry in India, based in Odisha.<br />
As per sources from RSP, these students have been shortlisted to take part in the international <b>Human Power Vehicle Challenge</b>, which is expected to be held in Florida, United States of America (USA), in April, 2014.<br />
At
 present, the team is in process of creating a "hybrid human powered 
vehicle". This vehicle will be eco-friendly, non-fuel consuming as well 
as non-polluting and hence, qualifies as green sustainable technology.<br />
RSP
 is a supporter of sustainable development and green technology. Hence, 
it is offering this scholarship as part of its Corporate Social 
Responsibility (CSR), to motivate the students and help them participate
 in the prestigious global event. The NITs are a group of autonomous 
institutes, engaged in imparting higher education in engineering in

programme, starting in 2014 at the school.<br />
The value of the scholarships lie between Â£3,000 to Â£32,000.<br />
<b>Eligibility:</b><br />
<ol>
<li>Scholarships are only for Indian studnets.</li>
<li>The student must have received an offer of a place on an LSE Master's programme by April 28, 2014.</li>
<li>Assessment
 for an award will be provided depending on the financial need. 
Therefore, LSE Graduate Financial Support form must be duly filled with 
accurate details.</li>
</ol>
<b>How to apply:</b><br />
<ol>
<li>After 
being confirmed about a place on one of the graduate programmes at LSE, 
student can complete the LSE Graduate Financial Support application 
form.</li>
<li>An acknowledgment will be sent to the students.</li>
<li>The
 form will be used by the Financial Support Office to assess the 
student's eligibility for all the awards at LSE which includes the new 
LSE Indian graduate scholarships as well.</li>
<li>If a student has 
already received an place for one of the graduate programmes at LSE and 
hasn't yet applied for the financial aid, then he/she can apply for the 
same till April 28, 2014.</li>
<li>Application process will close after 5pm.</li>

<b>VIT University, Vellore</b> invites application for M.Tech Scholarships for students pursuing their Master of Technology (M.Tech) program offered in various disciplines at Chennai and Vellore for academic session 2014-15.<br />
<b>Scholarship Details:</b><br />
<ol>
<li>Monthly stipend of Rs 4000 for top six GATE scores in each M.Tech program.</li>
<li>Top
 VITMEE/GATE scorers will get a stipend of 3600 Euros (i.e. Rs 2.40 
lakhs) for a double degree programs in Communication Engineering from 
UAS, Darmstadt, Germany (under DADD fellowship) and in Sensor Systems 
from UAS, Karlsruhe. </li>
</ol>
<b>Eligibility:</b><br /><ol>
<li>Applicant for admission should be of Indian national and should have graduated from institutions in India.</li>
<li>Candidates
 should have graduated with a full time degree from any recognized 
university with a minimum aggregate of 50% for M.Tech degree programs</li>
<li>Consistent record in X and XII Std is necessary.</li>
<li>Candidates appearing for their final degree exam/final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.</li>
